Alesa
Lightbourne, Ph.D., founder of Lightworks, is a prize-winning writer. She sold her first article in 1979, and went on to publish hundreds of pieces in local, regional and national publications. She is the ghostwriter of eight books, editor of five doctoral dissertations, university professor and frequent speaker to professional groups and writer’s conferences. |

Her favorite project? Writing a proposal for the International Zones of Peace that was endorsed by the Pope for presentation to UNESCO.
She likes to hike, kayak and ride a bicycle, and has completed two triathlons. Lesa is currently teaching English in Kurdistan, Northern Iraq. Read about her adventures in her blog!

Tara Hizon, our Senior Writer, has been passionate about words her entire life. An award-winning author, she has ghostwritten speeches, blogs and articles for local political campaigns, and has published pieces for world-renowned companies across the US, Canada and Jamaica. |
| She has published work and edited several books both on her own and as a Lightworks team member.
Tara enjoys performing in local theater productions, and reading anything she can get her hands on.

Genevieve Cox, our hard-working project manager, has been overseeing operations at Lightworks for more than three years. She has knack for details -- keeping our clients informed, our projects organized and making sure the rest of us ‘creative types’ stay on task. |
Genevieve has traveled all over the world and likes to surf, snowboard and mountain bike.
